Spreading Quality Improvement (SQI)

Spreading Quality Improvement (SQI) is an initiative the Specialist Services Committee (SSC) created to spread successful SSC Quality Improvement projects to accelerate the impact and transformation of our healthcare system within the Quadruple Aim Framework. SQI offers resources (fiscal and human) to spread successful projects locally, regionally and beyond.
SQI aims to:

• Improve the way care is delivered
• Improve provider and patient satisfaction
• Reduce costs
• Improve access in our system

Through partnership with Island Health, valuable opportunities to improve relationships with operational leaders and physicians is a key enabler to successful spread.
